Fiber Arts
As much as I love the freedom and tools allotted by digital creating, I find myself enjoying more tactical mediums. It's relaxing to to step away from the screen and I love how it's a whole different problem solving process depending on the medium. My son calls all of these hobbies "Granny Knitting".
Hand Embroidery
I have been passionately doing a lot of hand embroidery on canvas. I love how close these come out compared to the initial sketches but also have a more organic results. The only thing I dislike about this medium is running out of embroidery floss!

Needle Felting
This is a newer medium I've been working in. It feels like painting but in wool and you can create in 2D or 3D. Its created by repeatedly stabbing wool with a fiber needle repeatedly until it forms into the shape or form you desire. I find it's a bit harder to control the results than the embroidery but the creative possibilities of what you can create with this medium are pretty awesome.

Knitting
Our book club became a knit club (bc no one was reading the books) and even though most of the members moved out to the burbs or got too busy with kids, I've still been knitting away over a decade since. I'm still making a lot of hats but am pushing myself more with learning colorwork and how to knit toys.

Handmade Dolls
Fabric dolls with hand embroidered detailing, hand stitched hair and clothing. I hand been making them as customized gifts of people but as they are very labor intensive I don't make them as often.
